- Hello! Thanks for stopping by 'Betes Buddies. :) My name is Bailey and in May of 2012, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. For me, the most frustrating thing was not knowing what to do in certain situations. I was scared and couldn't find a place for teens who were dealing with this same issue. And so, born out of my need for communications with other kids who have diabetes, 'Betes Buddies was created. I hope you enjoy your stay and find answers to any questions you might have. :)
